Scholarship

Scholarships & Financial Aid

SSCV is committed to making our programs accessible to families. Our scholarship program can cover up to 100% of program fees based on financial need and level of participation. For the 2026–2027 season, SSCV offers two types of scholarships. Explore the options below to determine the best fit for your family.

SSCV Guaranteed Scholarship

This scholarship is available to local SSCV families (Eagle, Summit and Lake County residents). It is an award that is guaranteed if your family fits into the following income brackets after we have verified the information on your 2025 1040 tax return. A maximum award of up to 25% of program fees is possible.

Please apply for this scholarship through Clarity, our online application platform. Upload the required documents, and once your tax information has been verified and the filing address on your tax documents is confirmed to be within one of the three eligible counties, the applicable award amount will be applied to your account.

Applications will be reviewed on a periodic basis beginning after May 15, 2026. The final deadline to apply is October 1, 2026.

FAQ

Who should apply for a scholarship?

Any family who feels that program costs may be a barrier to participation is encouraged to apply. Scholarships are designed to support a wide range of financial situations—not just extreme cases—so if you’re unsure, it’s always worth applying.

How much financial aid is available?

Scholarships are available for up to 100% of program fees, depending on demonstrated financial need and available funding.

What factors are considered in the application?

SSCV evaluates several factors including household income, family size, net worth, and the additional costs associated with participation such as travel, equipment, and camps. The goal is to understand the full financial picture.

Does applying for a scholarship impact my athlete’s admission?

No. Scholarship applications are completely separate from the admissions process and have no impact on team placement or acceptance decisions.

Are scholarships available for all programs?

Scholarships are available for most SSCV programs. However, they are generally not available for postgraduate athletes, unless they are long-standing SSCV athletes continuing for a postgraduate year.

Do I need to apply every year?

Yes. Scholarships are awarded on an annual basis, and families must reapply each year to be considered for financial aid.

What is the application process?

All applications are submitted through School and Student Services (SSS). Families complete a financial statement and upload required documents. SSCV then uses this information to determine scholarship awards.
